Interim Department Manager, Inclusion and Diversity

Marilyn T. McGrone-Conley, CDP is the interim department manager of the Inclusion and Diversity department at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM). In this role, she is responsible for creating and executing strategy related to inclusion and diversity and Honda’s Business Resource Group (BRG) Program. Marilyn assumed this role in April 2024.

Prior to being named AHM’s Inclusion and Diversity Interim Department Manager, Marilyn was an individual contributor on the inclusion and diversity team as well as the Unit Manager of Honda’s Business Resource Group (BRG) Program. She began her career at Honda of America Manufacturing (HAM) in Marysville, OH in January 2000 as a Mass Production Supplier Parts Quality Engineer. In 2007, she was assigned to support the startup of Honda’s newest plant in Greensburg, IN. Marilyn was also a founding member of Honda’s first African American Business Resource Group.

Marilyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management in 1996 from Purdue University – West Lafayette. She is a Certified Diversity Professional with the National Diversity Council, a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, and has received additional Diversity Professional Certifications through Cornell University and through CADIA.
